From the Publisher

1. Your books till now have been stories of the purest form of love that breaks stereotypes and stands out in the way love is tossed around nowadays. Where do you get the inspiration for creating these stories and characters?

Keshav: We are defined by our commitments, right? Whether we are able to keep them or we back out in tough situations. Having said that, I have an inclination towards writing about characters that are strong, committed and stand in face of adversity like champions. I am not bothered about what goes around or what time is making us fall for. I focus on what should essentially be happening.

2. Have any of the stories been inspired from real life?

Keshav: The One From The Stars was a very heavily inspired book. And though I didn’t market or tell anyone about it initially, readers could figure it out, and some even called it a semi-autobiographical account. Our Story of Love draws inspiration from how one of my female friends fell in love, got married and started a family.

3. As a storyteller, what are your biggest challenges?

Keshav: Storytelling, I would say, isn’t much of a challenge. The real challenge is to make the stories reach the right hands. No doubt that I have improved as an author and need to work on myself significantly, I see marketing as a roadblock because readership is gradually dying. Gadgets have taken over everything else, and people are resorting to Web Series for learning and entertainment. However, I am sure once the frenzy is over, books will find their golden age again.

4. How approachable and prompt are you about getting in touch with readers?

Keshav: I try my very best to reply to all messages that I get. Very rarely have I missed. It can take me some time to get back to my readers, but I make sure that I respond at the soonest. They are the reasons we are. I am sure it isn’t a good practice to avoid their questions and love that they send via messages and letters.

5. Do you think the way spiritual lessons are seamlessly intertwined in your writing is the USP of your writing?

Keshav: Obviously yes! Because my readers have written that in their reviews, messaged me about it, and I have kept my writing intentionally that way. My purpose is not just to entertain and tell a story that gets readers through their hours. I believe as a writer it is my responsibility to share a few important life lessons that can help all of us. Because see, when I do that, people send in their perspectives and it even helps me to understand life better and be a better human being.
